Foyle Language School was established in 1990 initially to meet the growing demands of European students wishing to learn English in the rapidly expanding and diverse cultures within the European Union. Since then, the school has gone from strength to strength, meeting the demands of a global market and teaching students from all corners of the world, putting Derry and N. Ireland on the world map for English language learning.

FLS was the first British Council accredited private language school in the North of Ireland. Our direct links with the local business community, colleges of Further and Higher Education and universities can only accelerate and ultimately achieve the goal of any international student wishing to further their chosen career in an ever changing global marketplace. We continue to improve our on-line learning facilities and develop innovative ways of improving learning techniques making it flexible and easier for students to access material, monitor progress and communicate with tutors.
