The Junior Language Club is an active language-learning programme for children between the ages of 4 and 11 years. It provides an opportunity for children to learn French or Spanish at an early stage of their development, when they are most able to reproduce the sounds of a foreign language without inhibition. It is also an ideal opportunity for the children to meet new friends, play games and have fun! Each class consists of a language learning point and an opportunity to practice what has been learnt through games, songs, activities, drama, flashcards and tapes.

The course runs in modules of 10 classes and works through a carefully designed syllabus. We actively encourage parental involvement and hold occasional plays or concerts for parents. At the end of each module we send home a parents’ report detailing what the children have covered, along with regular activity sheets. Certificates and diplomas are issued at the end of each module alongside a variety of reward stickers.

The start date of the next module has yet to be confirmed.

The Spanish club runs from 12.00 to 1.00pm and the French club runs from 1.30 – 2.30pm. The fees per module are £45 and families with more than one child can enrol the second child (and third child if relevant) for a reduced rate of £40.00.
